Lake of the Woods Annual Garage Sale
Friday & Saturday, April 24 & 25 2026
8am to 3pm
There is NO Cost to participate. Feel free to open on Friday, as well. There will be ads in the newspaper and social media outlets. However, we need your help through word of mouth. So, take note, mark your calendars, and clean out the closets!
Lake Cleanup
Saturday, May 16th 2026
9 am to Noon
This year’s annual event includes cleaning the beach, removing leaves from the swim area, and adding swim ropes. The start time is 9:00 am with plans to be done around noon. 10 to 12 adults are needed to accomplish the cleaning this year. All helpers are asked to volunteer. Thank you for your support!
Lake Opening
Saturday, May 30th 2026
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
The lake opening has become a favorite tradition among Lake of the Woods residents. Start the summer by spending a summer day with friends and family.
There will be a main dish & lemonade furnished. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Hope to see you there!
4th of July Bike & Trike Parade

Calling all neighborhood kids, we announce our annual 4th of July Bike Parade! Come out and get your holiday started right here in Lake of the Woods. This has been such a loved tradition in our neighborhood and we hope you can join us this year.
Triathlon Festival Weekend

7:00 AM – Adult DIY Triathlon
Watch as adult residents swim, bike, and run through the neighborhood.
10:00 AM – Youth Triathlon
Support our young athletes as they take on their own fun-sized triathlon course!
Spectators welcome — bring your signs, spirit, and sidewalk chalk!

Santa Sighting

Santa will be chauffeured through LOTW by the Dunlap Fire Department! His route will begin at 11 am on Timberdale Dr. followed by the main streets of the subdivision (down Woodside, Brentwood, Wonderview, Tall Trees, Whispering Woods, etc.).
Homeowners Annual Meeting

All the members are invited. Only members with current dues paid can vote. Committee reports presented, Treasurer report, 2025 budget and the election of board members.
